Thaif, Macca
Taif is known for the famously fragrant flowers that grow in the surrounding wadis and mountains. It’s also known as Saudi’s unofficial summer capital. Because of its altitude, Taif is a cool escape from the heat. And while the roses bloom in April, the city really blossoms in August, when the Souq Okaz cultural festival and the Crown Prince Camel Festival are in full swing.
Factory Kiswah, Macca
The Kiswa Factory is where the cloth that covers the Kaaba is made. Adjacent to it is a museum called the Exhibition of the Two Holy Mosques ArchitectureA new factory was established in 1972 in the Umm Al-Joud district from where the Kiswah is still made today. It is located next to the Exhibition Of The Two Holy Mosques.

Madinah Magnetic Hill
On my recent trip to Madinah, Saudi Arabia, the tour guide informed us that we would be taken to this mysterious spot where water can flow uphill. Even a vehicle put in neutral can travel uphill.
I had never seen anything like this before and it sounded exciting. The basic laws of science and gravity that I know do not support these claims, so I looked forward to the trip.
I found out later that phenomena like this are not only unique to Madinah, Saudi Arabia, but can be found in many places all over the world. They are also known by various names: Magnet Hill, Magnetic Hill, Magnet Mountain, Gravity Hill, Mysterious Spot, and Mystery Hill.
